The IV Relationship Marketing Study in Spain, carried out by Mediapost and published in March 2022, came to this conclusion: loyalty continues to be a burning issue for brands. According to the study, 74% of consumers have a favourite brand, but only 8% are loyal to a single brand. And that fidelity is due, in 76% of cases, to the relationship between quality and price. Alongside this, there’s a fascinating piece of data related to loyalty: 8 out of 10 consumers belong to a loyalty club (loyalty programmes that brands have in order to reward customers for purchases made through different modalities or redeeming systems). The main advantages that consumers get from a loyalty club are attractive discounts for future purchases and money back on other purchases.
