What does a lead need to be considered a qualified lead?
We all know that getting leads is essential to facilitate the sales process of our products or services, but we also know that not all the leads are going to have the same value for our business. We need to obtain qualified leads, with a high match rate with the ideal buyer profile for our products or services. In other words, in order for us to classify a lead as qualified, we need the contact to have passed all the criteria we’ve established to convert them into a buyer of our product or service.
If we’re able to obtain qualified leads, we’ll benefit from significant savings of effort and time when converting our contacts into sales. For this, the first thing we must do is define, as precisely as possible, the ideal buyer profile of the person interested in our products, our “buyer persona”. The better we have it defined, the easier it’ll be to make sales.
From here, it’s essential to carry out actions that bring this profile closer to our business by creating high-quality content aligned with the values and goals of our company, carrying out actions that attract our “buyer persona” to the business, (in a previous post we talked, for example, about “capturing leads through the use of promotional mechanics”), through the automation of email marketing campaigns directed to our target, etc.
